The Scottish Gaelic language spoken in Scotland The Scottish police force came under fire when they updated their website and made it possible for users to translate it to 70 other languages but they forgot to include Scottish Gaelic in their list. This angered the 60,000 Scottish Gaelic speakers in Scotland. Scott Weston was the one who drew the attention of the police to this matter on their Facebook page. Scottish Gaelic is a Celtic language, like Irish and Manx. It is spoken by less than 60,000 people in Scotland, and the number of speakers is declining despite attempts to revive the language.
