Freelang Arabic-English dictionary

Arabic is a Semitic language (a group belonging to the Afro-Asiatic family) spoken by 200 to 400 million native speakers (estimates vary a lot). Modern Standard Arabic derives from Classical Arabic and is widely studied and used throughout the Islamic world. It also have many varieties spoken throughout the Arab world.
